Shane joined the Coast Guard Reserve prior to moving to Colorado in 2011. He started his career in the oil and gas fields of the Permian Basin down in NM & TX, and then transitioned to wind turbine technology. He then made the move to HVAC, learning distribution, installation, sales and service. He originally founded Fenix in 2022. His fr

He started his career in the oil and gas fields of the Permian Basin down in NM & TX, and then transitioned to wind turbine technology. He then made the move to HVAC, learning distribution, installation, sales and service. He originally founded Fenix in 2022. His free time is spent with family, mountain biking, hiking, and camping.

His career in the trades started with installation and service of small and large appliances for Lowes prior to getting in HVAC where he was warehouse manager for one of the largest distribution companies in the country. He then moved into installation and service of HVAC systems for the last several years. He's an admitted gym rat and outdoor enthusiast when not relaxing with family.

He too started out in the trades installing complex communication systems and E911 solutions across the country. At Fenix he acts as general manager in support of his sons, who he says "Do the real work" while I just move paper around. Typically you'll find him on a bike or hiking with his wife and their dog Georgia.
